Woolworths is 'n Suid-Afrikaanse winkelgroep wat op die Johannesburgse Effektebeurs genoteer is. Die winkelgroep is deur Max Sonnenberg saam met sy seun Richard, en Fred Kossuth gestig. Die eerste Woolworthswinkel is in Oktober 1931 in die Ou Royal Hotel in Kaapstad geopen. In 2012 het die groep landwyd 20 000 permanente werknemers in hul 400 winkels gehad.
