Profil
UniCredit S.p.A. is an Italian multinational banking group headquartered in Milan. It is one of the largest banking groups in Italy, alongside Intesa Sanpaolo. As of 2025, it was the world's 44th-largest bank by total assets.
The group was formed in 1998 through the merger of Credito Italiano and Unicredito. It traces its origins to Banca di Genova, founded in 1870. UniCredit is listed on the Borsa Italiana and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, and is a constituent of the Euro Stoxx 50.
