The company operates the Flatex, Degiro and ViTrade brokerage platforms through Flatexdegiro Bank. It is one of Europe's largest retail online brokers, serving more than 3 million customer accounts by late 2024.
The company's origins go back to PRE.IPO AG, founded in 1999. Its Flatex online brokerage platform was launched in 2006. In 2015, the company acquired a majority stake in XCOM AG.
