The Bank of Cyprus is a Cypriot financial services company established in 1899 with its headquarters in Strovolos. Bank of Cyprus has been designated as a Significant Institution since the entry into force of European Banking Supervision in late 2014, and as a consequence is directly supervised by the European Central Bank. After seven years Common Shares of the Bank of Cyprus started trading on the Main Market of the Athens Stock Exchange.
