The name "AMGen" is a portmanteau of the company's original name, Applied Molecular Genetics. The company's major products are Prolia and XGEVA to treat osteoporosis and bone diseases, Repatha to treat hyperlipidemia, Otezla to treat psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, Enbrel to treat autoimmune diseases, Evenity to treat osteoporosis, Tepezza to treat Graves' ophthalmopathy, Blincyto to treat acute lymphoblastic leukemia, Nplate to regulate platelet production, Tezspire to treat asthma, Kyprolis to treat cancer, Aranesp to stimulate erythropoiesis, Krystexxa to treat gout, and Vectibix, a monoclonal antibody.
