Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Limited is an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company based in Mumbai. Founded in 1977 by Gracias Saldanha as a generic drug and active pharmaceutical ingredient manufacturer, it is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange of India. The company produces and distributes medicines in more than 80 countries, with operations concentrated in India, North America, Europe, and emerging markets. As of March 2026, it employed approximately 17,000 people. Its name derives from Saldanha's sons, Glenn and Mark. Wikipedia
